Volume 19
When you look back at your life, will you be able to say that you did what you could to make the world a more loving, kind, and better place? I think about this a lot, and although I’m not even close to doing all of the things I’d like to do before I leave this world, I can reflect proudly on the good Leoni Consulting Group (LCG) has been able to create this year.
This year we formed the LCG Foundation, which helps make LCG more mission oriented. The Foundation is on track to distribute a half a million dollars directly to educators, thanks to a generous corporate partner. On Giving Tuesday, the foundation also announced its first major gift, which donated over $24k to Marin County, CA educators.
At LCG, we continue to partner with education brands to create and deepen relationships with educators. But it’s not nearly enough and not nearly at the level of impact I’d like. Almost six years at LCG’s helm and I still feel like I’m steering into a storm that I can’t quite get ahead of. The more relationships we create, the more evidence I find of educators becoming isolated and burned out. In this time when nothing ever seems to be enough, I reflect on the lives of educators we have improved and at times, saved. It helps me remember how powerful relationship building is. The impact is immeasurable.
In this time of gratitude and giving, take a moment to pause and reflect on your stamp on this world so far, and think about all the small things you’ve done (and can still do) that can make a big difference.

We’re on social media every day and one of the best part of our jobs is getting to listen to educators. Please take the time to listen and engage with them.
